The following images illustrate a proposal for the opening of Linger Lounge, a cafe and lounge space in Carrol Gardens. The space designed by Taylor and Miller is clad in chalk-board painted panels which invite the designs and drawings of artists. The departure point for the proposed drawings was the aesthetic of wood grain and the images that can be found in the seemingly familiar lines that define this material.
